Purchase College, SUNY School of Art+Design Visiting Lecture Series Talk By Photographer Justine Kurland

Photographer Justine Kurland will give a talk Wednesday, September 25 at 6:30
p.m. as part of the Visiting Artist Lecture Series being conducted this fall by Purchase College, SUNY’s School of Art+Design in
the college’s Visual Arts Building, Room 1016. 
Kurland’s work focuses on the American Landscape and the adolescents, wanderers, seekers and nymphs that populate and mythologize its surface. She is known for lushly described, large format color photographs that show vignettes of life played out by the willing strangers she meets on road trips crossing the country.
