HELLO PATCH READERS...

Harrison has been my hometown for the past decade, and, with my husband and two children, I have been experiencing all the fascinating things this town has to offer.  From the great schools, parks, concerts, interesting people and all the pleasant surprises I have encountered along the way, this town continues to delight and amaze me.  My lifelong love of  media has brought me here to Patch.

THAT WAS THEN...

Westchester is not new to me since I grew up Chappaqua and graduated from Horace Greeley High School.  Then, as the story goes, this Westchester gal moved to NYC as soon as she was able, graduated from NYU with an English degree, worked for Hill and Knowlton Public Relations, spent a decade working and traveling the world with Reuters News Agency, and somewhere in between all that, met and married the love of her life-- a charming and handsome man who hails from Dublin, Ireland -- moved to London, had 2 adorable red-headed children and landed here in Harrison.  

THIS IS NOW...

For the past decade here in Harrison I've been a happy stay-at-home mom with some freelance work here and there at The Journal News, Rye Record and other local non-profit publications.  Writing has always been a passion, and, like many people with a love of writing, I have been working on, but not quite finishing (yet), a children's book, a historical fiction novel, a screen play -- just to name a few of these ongoing projects.

I LIKE...

Spending my time with my family is my greatest joy, and besides writing -- I like reading, cooking, traveling, hiking, skiing,  gardening, listening to music, laughing, helping others however I can, and just sitting back and loving this great gift of life.
