This is being pushed by Obama's HUD. Obama's presidency and legitimacy are on the line now, with…Read More shocking revelations about Benghazi, and the IRS targeting his political opponents. Let him first defend himself on the enormous charges against him. He has done far worse than he even accuses us of doing, but maybe I am wrong, let him clear his name, probably via Watergate-style hearings. I am sure he would welcome the opportunity. ;)
In the meantime, it's time for us to stand our ground. We have every right to do so. I do not want my County suing my Town. If it happens, I will support a tax increase within my Town for full and vigorous defense against such a suit. We do not discriminate; anyone can buy any house here if they can afford it.
Mr. Astorino, please do not submit to this pressure for the sake of CDBG money. Principle is important, and our local system of government is extremely important.
