<p>The Harrison Public Library is chartered by the State of New York to serve the Town-Village of Harrison. A library card is free to all Harrison residents, and those who work, attend school or own property in Harrison.</p> <p>The library is a member of the Westchester Library System, and a Harrison library card is honored at all 38 public libraries in the system.</p> <p>Microcomputers and various software applications are available for use in the Children's Department. Activities for toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children are offered throughout the year. The library has a community room that is available to civic and community organizations for meetings. Concerts, art exhibits and lectures are regularly scheduled in the room as well.</p>
