At the Bronxville Farmers Market you can find organic produce, pasture-raised meats and poultry, maple syrup, pickles, cheese, breads, local wines and so much more.

Description: Backpack giveaway and summer Fair. There will be a barbecue, jumping castle, games and more. The event is free to the community. Sponsored by Hudson Valley Family Church and Memorial Community Church.
Harrison: Hindenberg and Three For All to Perform Sunday

Description: Led Zeppelin tribute artists, Hindenberg, and recording artists Three for All will perform at the West Harrison Village Green Sunday at 6 p.m. after their performance was rained out on Thursday.
Mamaroneck: The Class of Life - A Theatrical Experience
Where:The Westchester Sandbox Theatre ~ 931C E Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY
When: Sunday, Aug. 25, at 3 p.m.

Description: The Class of Life is a theatrical experience that takes the audience on a journey which highlights one man’s life. The story begins on the last day of his distinguished career as a police officer. This day gives way to reminiscing about his motivation to become a police officer, his proud Italian heritage, his upbringing, and married life. Utilizing a blend of humor, drama, song, dance, and life experience, the actor takes his audience on an emotional roller coaster through stories relating to all. This poignant presentation will surely touch the lives of those who value family, tradition, and comedy. Show is approximately 2 hrs long including one 15-20 minute intermission. 17 years and older please.
Ossining: Back to School Giveaway
Where: Joseph G. Caputo Community Center, 95 Broadway Ossining

Description: Free school supplies, while they last – parents must have a child with them. This project is about giving, empowering children and families across America and promoting the importance of education. Let there not be a child without the tools for a good education.
Sleepy Hollow: Rock da Park

Description: Please join us at our annual “Rock da Park” Outreach Event. With GREAT success Rock of Salvation Church has hosted this event in our local community for over 7 years. There will be food, entertainment, and games for the children, as well as special guest and speakers. There is something for the whole family. Somers: Storywalk at the Library
When: Friday, Aug. 23; Saturday, Aug. 24 and Sunday, Aug. 25 all day
Where: Somers Library, Route 139 & Reis Park, Somers

Description: Enjoy a story in a new way by reading the pages of a story book posted around the outside of the library. At the end, go inside the library to receive a cookie (during library hours) This activity is self-directed.
Yorktown: 'Dance 4 a Cause'
When: Friday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m.
Where: Yorktown Stage, 1974 Commerce Street, Yorktown Heights
Cost: suggested donation $20
Description: It's an evening of dance and hope that will benefit Adrenal Cancer Research. There will be special guest performances from Broadway star Craig Schulman, star of Les Miserables, Jekyll & Hyde and the Phantom of the Opera. Guest speaker is Gary D. Hammer, M.D., Ph.D. director of University of Michigan. Yorktown's Ashley Bonner organizedthe first dance show to help raise money for adrenal cancer research after her aunt Wendy Holman was diagnosed with the rare form of cancer in 2007.
White Plains: Fur-Ever Home Adoption Event at the Westchester
