Volunteers Rewarded with Dining Discounts

Not only is volunteering good for your well-being (and the world) but you can also get a 20% discount on Wednesday evenings at these local restaurants.

 

As part of a new Volunteer Appreciation Nights initiative from Thank You For Caring, volunteers can enjoy 20 percent off their meals at area restaurants on Wednesdays.

Those who volunteer with any group or organization in Westchester just need bring along proof of their service to a participating restaurant on Wednesday nights to reserve their discount.

By proof, you can show a card or letter (or email from the organization) that you are a volunteer. If your group doesn't have a card, free ThankYouForCaring discount cards are available to 501(c)3 organizations for all of their volunteers. No personal information required to participate. 

The ThankYouForCaring Facebook page notes: "Alcohol not included and please tip based on full price of meal. Make a night of it!"
