The children who attended West Harrison Library's summer reading kick-off on Monday were treated to a giant green surprise in the form of a weather balloon. Jason Reilly from Green Meadows Farm knew exactly how to sneak in a science lesson and make it fun.
After inflating the balloon with a leaf blower, which met with squeals of delight, Reilly explained all the useful ways weather balloons contribute to daily life.
