Bernie Williams Kicks-Off Free Concert Series at Ridge Hill July 1st

Westchester's Ridge Hill second summer concert series begins with a rescheduled Latin jazz music performance by Bernie Williams and his All-Star Band, Monday, July 1st at 6pm.

The Latin Jazz band headed by former Yankee and four-time MLB World Series Champion Bernie Williams is set to play on Monday, July 1st at Ridge Hill.

Williams plays guitar, and his band has made two albums and received a Latin Grammy nomination. Williams, a Westchester resident, returns after a warm reception at Ridge Hill's 2012 summer concert series.

Signing his first contract with the Yankees at just 17, Williams is a four-time World Series Champion and a five-time All Star. In his 16-year career, he won four gold-glove awards, six American League pennants and the 1998 American League batting title. His love of music began at age 8, when he fell in love with a flamenco guitar his father brought home from Spain.

The concerts start at 6:00pm with a performer from WFAS.FM "The Lounge" opening each show.  Lauren Parfidio, a native of the Bronx, will open for Williams on July 1st. The main acts begin at 6:30pm.
