Weather Pushes Back Baseball Playoff Schedule
Rain has also pushed back the start of the Section I baseball tournament.
Wet fields and dark skies have put a delay on the Section I baseball schedule, leaving Harrison with another day to wait before taking to the field.
The second-seeded Huskies were scheduled to face the winner of Tuesday afternoon's matchup between Nanuet (18) and Eastchester (15) on Wednesday, but with that game postponed, Harrison will have to wait until Thursday to play its first game.
With a win, Harrison would then play Friday, with the semifinals scheduled for Saturday. Wins in all three games would land the Huskies in the Section I championship on May 30 at Dutchess Stadium.

The weather will not, however, affect the Harrison lacrosse team's playoff game this afternoon. Fresh off an upset victory over Ossining (7) in their first round game, Harrison's 10th-seeded lacrosse squad will play John Jay (CR) (2) Tuesday at 5 p.m. as scheduled.
A win over John Jay in that game would setup a Thursday semi-final matchup. Another win would land the Huskies in the finals on May 30 at White Plains High School.
