VIDEO: Harrison Football Beats Saunders in Bizarre Two-Quarter Game

Harrison led Saunders 20-8 at halftime on Monday afternoon when officials called the game because of unplayable field conditions.

Officials sent players back to the locker room as the third quarter was supposed to start Monday afternoon, deciding that the soggy field at Saunders Trade and Tech High School was unsuitable for another half of football.

The odd finish gave Harrison (4-0) the 20-8 win without ever having the take the field in the second half.

The Huskies used a power running game and quality defense to build their lead, scoring twice on the ground and once in the air to jump ahead 20-0 before a late Saunders touchdown brought the game within 12.
