After an undefeated run through one of the most difficult districts in the state, the Harrison 9-10 year-old boys little league team has continued their successful summer with two wins in the section tournament.
Harrison followed Tuesday's 11-1 win over District 19 champion Warwick with a hard-fought 5-2 victory over Rhinebeck Wednesday night. The boys team will play for the section winners bracket championship Friday afternoon.
If the team wins that game they will have two shots to advance to states. Even with a loss the team can still rebound, but the road will become a little bit bumpier as they will have to advance through the losers bracket of the double-elimination tournament.
