Scheduling for types O & B- are recommended, but we realize that at times it is not possible so as always we welcome "walk-in" donors too....This blood drive will have a New York Organ Donor table available for those interested in registering. This drive has become a "Tribute to Joey" attempting to helppeople who are desparately waiting for 'life-saving' organs from unselfish donors.It was Joey Acocella, Jr. who introduced the NY Organ Donor Program to Harrison several years ago when he was first elected as Town Clerk. Joey sadly passed away on August 8, 2011 while waiting for a 'kidney'.
