The Harrison volleyball team came from behind Saturday to defeat top-seeded Ursuline 3-2 to capture its second consecutive Section I title. Harrison hadn't won a section championship in a girls team sport in at least 30 years before last year's victory.

Score: Harrison 3-2 (17-25, 20-25, 25-20, 26-24, and 25-19)

Highlights: After being down 0-2 Harrison rallied off three straight wins over the previously unbeaten Koalas. Just like the semi-final matchup against Fox Lane, Harrison ended this match with Jessica Segal setting up Lily Stokoe for the kill. In the loss Kristen Knight led thee Koalas with 14 kills.
Harrison will take on the Section IV champion Tuesday night in the state playoffs.

Game: Harrison vs. Gorton
Score: Harrison Won 42-27
Highlights: The Husky football season ended on a high note as Harrison beat Gorton in a DeMatteo Bowl game at John Jay. The Huskies finish the year 5-4.
Sport: Girl’s Cross Country
Game: Section 1 Championships Class B
Score: Harrison 222 21 (9th Place)
Highlights: The Huskies had three girls finish in the top 40 as Sara Purinton, Alex Sanchez and Carli Benatati led Harrison.
Sport: Boy’s Cross Country
Game: Section 1 Championships Class B
Score: Harrison 259 (10th Place)
Highlights: Husky senior Christopher D’Antona finished 23rd overall with a time of 17:53.32. Trey Wasilesky finished 30 seconds behind him as Harrison wrapped the section championships in 10th place.
