Standout Eastchester lacrosse player Pat Guido has decided to stay local next year, signing to play with the Manhattanville Valiants after graduation this spring.

“Pat has done a tremendous job for us over the last four years,” said Eastchester Head Coach Larry Petriccione. “He has regularly covered the opponents top attackman or middie and we can usually count on him picking up eight to 10 ground balls per game. He has great speed and athleticism, but it is his attitude that makes him the player he is. He is the type of kid that shows up and works hard every day, without exception.”
Guido’s highlight tape speaks for itself, and several other schools were looking at him before he signed.

“I was seriously considering two other schools (Albright and Farleigh Dickinson) before making my final decision to go to Manhattanville. I really liked Manhattanville's campus and the academic reputation it has established,” said Guido.

Highlights: A three run sixth inning propelled the Huskies to the win against Nyack. Max Bruckner had 11 strikeouts in six innings of work. Ryan Howe had the lone run for Nyack.

Score: Rye Won 8-4
Highlights: Greg Stern led the Garnets with four goals and an assist as Colin Hynson scored twice. Charlie VanTongeran led Harrison with two goals.
Sport: Softball
Game: Harrison vs. Port Chester
Score: Harrison Won 14-1
Highlights: Harrison centerfielder Jenna Webb was 2-for-6 with two grand slams, eight RBI and two runs. Alijah Webb was 1-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in the win.
