Daily Sports Digest: Segal, Stokoe Lead Harrison Past Quakers

The second-seeded Husky volleyball team had no problem with the seventh-seeded Quakers as Harrison swept in three sets. The dynamic duo of Jessica Segal and Lily Stokoe led Harrison to victory and today the Huskies will take on the Fox Lane Foxes at 4:30 p.m.

The field hockey team fell to Rye for the third time yesterday. Harrison's season ended in a 7-1 quarterfinal loss to the Garnets.

The Husky football team will be back in action Friday night as Harrison wraps up their season when they take on Gorton at John Jay (CR).

Sport: Volleyball

Game: Horace Greeley @ Harrison 

Score: Harrison Won 3-0 

Highlights: The Huskies made quick work of the Quakers as Harrison won in straight sets 25-6, 25-18, and 25-20. In the win Lily Stoke led the team with 10 kills and Jessica Segal led Harrison with 21 assists.

Sport: Field Hockey

Game: Harrison @ Rye

Score: Rye Won 7-1

Highlights: Rye beat Harrison for the third time this season in field hockey. Six different Garnets scored in the victory and goalie Lacey Collins had two saves in the win. Harrison’s lone goal came in the first half from Nicole Barletta. Ali Menniti had 10 saves in the loss.
