The weather reeked havoc on athletics all over the Hudson Valley, but few games were more inconvenienced than the Harrison-John Jay girl’s soccer game. The game originally began on Saturday at John Jay but officials stopped the contest in a 1-1 tie because of snow. Unfortunately, John Jay High School was still without power Tuesday.
League officials moved the game to Harrison, where the contest resumed yesterday. The two teams went into four overtimes without a winner. It took a round of penalty kicks, but eventually the highly-seeded Indians prevailed.

Score: John Jay 3-2 (4OT PK)
Highlights: Harrison took one of the best teams in the section to four overtimes, and then into penalty kicks before losing a heartbreaker. Cassidy Cohen and Izzy Scheck each had a goal and an assist in the loss. Goaltender Jackie Fonseca led the Husky defense with nine saves.
