After a less then stellar performance at Hofstra University, coach Rosa Acocella-Ferrante and the Harrison cheerleaders switched up their routine and put in the extra effort to make sure they wouldn’t fall short again.

Over the weekend Harrison’s Cheerleaders competed at New Rochelle, where they took first in their division. They then earned a bid to cheerleading nationals in Walt Disney World with a second place finish at the Pocono Regional at Kutztown University.

“They had their best performance of the season on Sunday,” Accocella-Ferrante said.
