The Harrison Husky baseball team will be back in action tonight as they take Section 9 champion Cornwall at Dutchess Stadium at 4 p.m in the state playoffs.

Cornwall is fresh off a 6 - 3 win over Maine-Endwell Monday night in New Paltz, and also knocked off Marlboro 10-2 on Sunday. Harrison has enjoyed a first round bye in the state playoffs and hasn't played since they  on a walk off walk last Thursday.

  • Sandra Mastrangelo of White Plains competed her senior season at attack on the water polo team at Brown University. The Bears went 20-18, closing with a 10-7 loss to Michigan in the CWPA Eastern Championships.
  • Seniors Joe Daly of Mahopac and Walter Panas HS graduate Phil Honovich were honored before the Manhattanville College lacrosse team picked up its second straight Freedom Conference victory to end the season on a two-game winning streak with a 10-9 overtime victory over the King’s (PA) Monarchs. Junior Justin Figueroa of Ardsley netted the game-winner on the first possession in OT.
