Blue Jays Crowned 13U Champs

The Harrison Blue jays edged the Harrison Pirates to take the Westchester Sound Shore spring baseball league championship.

In an all-Harrison championship game, the Harrison Blue Jays completed an undefeated season with a 7-4 win over the Harrison Pirates to take home a league championship.

The teams were competing in the Westchester Sound Shore spring baseball league's 13U division. The final game was played on June 5 in West Harrison. 

The Blue Jays defeated the Harrison Angels 6-0 in the previous game and finished the season 13-0. The Pirates finished 10-2 and the Harrison Angels finished 4-7.

The 11-team Sound Shore League includes teams from all over the lower Hudson Valley, but the Pirates and Blue Jays finished with the top two records.
