3 Boys Teams Advance in All-Star Basketball Tournament
Three of four Harrison boys recreation teams advanced in the recreation county tournament Monday night.
Harrison all-star teams continued what has been a successful county basketball tournament Monday evening, as three of four boys teams advanced in their brackets.
In the Boys Cub League (11 and under), Harrison Silver defeated Peekskill 37-35 and will advance to face Shrub Oak Wednesday at 5 p.m. In the same bracket, Harrison Maroon advanced by defeating Eastchester 42- 28, and will take on Greenburgh Wednesday at 6 p.m.
In the Boys Midget League (12 and 13), Harrison Silver beat Peekskill 42 - 30 and will advance to face Eastchester Wednesday at 5 p.m. Harrison Maroon lost to Shrub Oak 44 - 32 and was eliminated.

On Tuesday night both Harrison teams from the Girls Cub League will be in action at 5 p.m. Harrison Silver and Harrison Maroon will both be playing in their bracket's semi-finals.
All games are at the Westchester County Center. The boys and girls teams are composed of all-star players selected from local recreation leagues.
