Voices of Harrison: School Vote
Harrison Patch editor Zach Oliva visits with some Harrison residents to get a feel for their thoughts on next week's school vote.
Harrison residents will be asked to vote on the 2010-2011 school budget on Tuesday, the budget includes the elimination of 17 positions within the district as well as a 3.3 percent tax increase.
Harrison administrators say that smart planning kept the district away from the mass layoffs and sharp tax increases being proposed in other districts across the state. According to last week's Harrison poll, you agreed. Most voters told us that they supported the district's handling of the budget.
