There will be no challengers on the ballot to face incumbents Joan Tiburzi and Dennis Di Lorenzo in this spring's board of education election.
The school district announced Wednesday that the two incumbents are the only candidates who filed paperwork by this week's deadline. They will both likely win new three-year terms in May.
Di Lorenzo is currently serving as president of the seven-member board. Tiburzi served president during the 2010-11 school year.
Last year's board of education race vying for three spots on the board. Incumbents Philip Silano, David Singer and Paul Curtis .
