Purchase Students Rally Against State Cuts
About 100 students at SUNY Purchase gathered Wednesday afternoon to protest proposed cuts to SUNY and CUNY colleges across the state.
Students and staff protested proposed cuts in state aid at SUNY Purchase Wednesday afternoon.
The group held signs, filled out petitions and chanted their viewpoints in the center of campus. The school will also send about 55 students and staff to Albany on Tuesday to advocate for their cause.
