Newsweek: HHS Among Top 100 U.S. Public Schools

Newsweek released its annual list of the top public schools in the country earlier this week, Harrison was ranked 99th.

In Newsweek's annual list of the top public schools in the country, Harrison squeaked into the top 100, finishing 99th on the list.

The list was compiled by using numbers from the 2009 graduating class. Numbers were calculated by taking the total number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or Cambridge tests given each year and dividing that number by the total seniors graduating that spring, according to Newsweek.

Other local schools in the top 100 included Rye High School (84) and Bronxville High School (87).
