McGillicuddy Stadium Dedication Scheduled For Saturday

A dedication ceremony for McGillicuddy Stadium is scheduled for Saturday at 5:30 p.m., about an hour before the field will host a football game between Harrison and Eastchester.

Although it has been in use since last spring, the Harrison Central School District will officially dedicate its new multi-sport stadium on Saturday afternoon at 5:30.

The ceremony will take place about an hour before McGillicuddy Stadium hosts a football game between Harrison and Eastchester, the third football game at the stadium this year and the final regular season home game for Harrison.

Construction on McGillicuddy Stadium was completed last year, it was built largely with the help of private donations and the help of the community. The school district has invited anyone interested in celebrating the completion of the stadium to arrive for Saturday night's game early to dedicate the new home of Husky sports.
