For the third time in as many weeks the Harrison Central School District will be closed today because of the weather.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the region until 1 p.m. this afternoon. Two to three inches of snow are expected before snowfall turns to sleet and freezing rain around 9 a.m. At that point one to three tenths of an inch of ice accumulation is possible.
The precipitation is expected to change over to rain by early afternoon.
