Report: President Obama to Speak from Tappan Zee Bridge Wednesday

President Barack Obama will make a speech from the Tappan Zee Bridge Wednesday to draw attention to the need for more infrastructure spending, according to a report in The Journal News.

Construction on a new span to replace the 58-year-old bridge began some time ago, and the project has been highlighted for importance to the region.

Obama's speech will call on Congress to allocate more funding for infrastructure projects, according The Journal News citing sources from The White House.
