A section of Harrison's Halstead Ave. will be closed Friday morning while a funeral procession for Joseph Acocella Jr. passes through the area.
Halstead Avenue will close Friday morning from Harrison Avenue to Oak Street while a funeral procession for Joseph Acocella Jr. passes through the area.
The street will be closed from 9 a.m to 12 p.m.
Acocella's funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison. A large funeral procession is expected to pass through the area, according to the town's website.

Town hall will also be closed Friday morning until 12 p.m. in honor of the beloved town clerk who at the age of 30.
