Property Tax Reform Teach-In: Short Term Relief & Long Term Solutions

Please join Westchester for Change for Monday's teach-in on property tax reform.

Many people are feeling quite squeezed by the increasing burden of property taxes.  In this political climate, it is too easy to seize upon this real anxiety and simply call for caps and cuts.  As activists, we can begin to understand the problem and work for progressive alternatives for funding our essential educational and health care services.  This can only happen if we educate ourselves and participate in meaningful dialogue.  Please join us for our first educational forum on the issue.

I hope to see many of you at the teach-in!
