West Harrison Man Arrested After Vet Center Dispute

The information below was provided by Bedford police and does not indicate a conviction.

A West Harrison man was arrested after police say he broke a vase and damaged a plant at the Katonah-Bedford Veterinary Center because he was dissatisfied with the service he received.

Peter Ronai, 46, picked up his dog from KBVC and sought treatment at another veterinary location. He allegedly could not get his pet's animal records as quickly as he needed them via phone, and returned to the center to pick them up. The center reported to police there was a verbal disagreement followed by Ronai knocking a vase valued at $100 to the floor.

Ronai was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief with intent to damage property. He was released pending an appearance in town court.
