West Harrison Man Accused of UPM

The following arrest report was provided by the Harrison Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 22-year-old West Harrison man was arrested earlier this month after police say they found marijuana in his vehicle after he was caught driving with a suspended lincese.

The man was stopped on Purchase Street at about 9 a.m. on Feb 13 after an officer in the area said he drove over a double-yellow line. During the ensuing traffic stop, a police computer check revealed a suspended license. 

The driver was placed under arrest. While conducting an inventory search of the vehicle police found a light blue marijuana pipe filled with marijuana, arrest reports say.

The driver was cited for unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and charged with driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor.

He was charged at police headquarters and released.
