Police Seek Missing Greenwich Teen

GPD: Missing 15-year-old teen has history of running away.

Greenwich Police are asking for surrounding communities to help in finding a 15-year-old town teen who was reported missing Saturday morning.

According to police, Crystyle Davis, 15, of Ann Street, was reported missing just before 10 a.m. July 14. She was last seen in Greenwich on July 13, Greenwich Police said.

"It wasn't an abduction. She's done this before," said Sgt. Mark Zuccerella of the Greenwich Police Special Victims Section. According to Zuccerella, Crystyle climbed out the bedroom window of her home. "She has left the house at least four times in the past. Each time she returned on her own. The last time (she ran away) she was seen in New York City."

Crystyle apparently ran away following an argument with her mother, according to Zuccerella. He also said, "We talked to a couple friends who said they haven't heard from her a few days."

He added, "We're getting nervous that it's been since the weekend since they've heard from her."

According to a flier Greenwich Police released late Monday afternoon, Crystyle is a black female, about 4-foot 11, weighing 107 pounds. "Crystyle has brown hair extensions in the back of her hair, but it is shorter in front. She may be wearing brown moccasin shoes," according to the flier.

Zuccerella said investigators did not have a detailed clothing description.

Anyone with information are asked to call the Greenwich Police Special Victims Section at 203-622-8030 or 203-622-8004.
