Police: Man Caught With Prescription Steroids

A New Rochelle man faces misdemeanor drug possession charges after police say he was caught with prescription steroids.
Harrison police arrested Nicholas Gary, 30, of 7 Arbor Drive, Friday afternoon after finding sample boxes of several steroids in his vehicle after a traffic stop at the intersection of North Street and Polly Park Road in Harrison. Gary told police he was given the samples by a doctor for treatment because he didn't have medical insurance, according to an arrest report.
Gary has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and was released on $200 cash bail.
