Police Blotter: Two License Suspensions and More Graffiti
The Harrison Police Blotter from July 12th – 19.
Suspended License
Lawrence McGowan, 58, a musician from White Plains, was arrested on Monday, July 12. Initially McGowan was pulled over for speeding on Mamaroneck Avenue. It was then that police say a check of McGowan's license showed a revoked NYS license as of July 4 of this year, which was for a DWI with the use of drugs.
He is due in court on August 3.

Driving With a Suspended License
Police say a 45-year-old man was talking on his cell phone Monday while driving southbound on Harrison Avenue. After pulling the vehicle over, a computer check revealed that the driver did not have a valid drivers license.

Graffiti
Police say an officer on patrol Monday night in West Harrison came across graffiti on the rear wall of the Leo Mintzer Center. The graffiti included a black inverted cross, with the word "primitive" written in red ink beneath the cross. The officer reported that the time frame of the occurrence could not be determined. So far there are no suspects.
