Pills Pilfered From Trump Tower Resident's Mail Discovered in Harrison Arrest

Though Harrison police initially stopped a 20-year-old Bedford resident for an expired registration on 2 White Plains Ave. around noon on June 21, they soon discovered a trove of illegal drugs stashed in his vehicle.

While speaking with the driver, the officer detected a strong smell of marijuana; after questioning, the Bedford resident produced a small vial with marijuana in it and said, "This is all I have," according to police reports.

After searching the vehicle, police found another vial of marijuana in the center console as well as a bottle containing 90 pills of cyclobenzaprine—also known as Flexeril—a prescription muscle relaxant. The name on the bottle was different than the Bedford resident's name.

When asked, the Bedford resident said he stole the pills from the incoming mail at his job at the Trump Tower in White Plains.

The Bedford resident was arrested for seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation; his car was impounded.

He was released on his own recognizance (ROR) and will return to court on July 30.
