Pelham Man Accused of Marijuana Possession

A 19-year-old Pelham man was cited for unlawful possession of marijuana this week, he was released at the scene.

A man driving with a suspended license near the intersection of Westchester Avenue and Kenilworth Road had marijuana in his vehicle, police say.

Harrison Police stopped the man, 19, after noticing a suspended registration at about 11 p.m. on Oct. 12. Police found a glass container holding a small amount of marijuana in the center console of the man's vehicle.

The driver was cited for unlawful possession of marijuana, along with driving with a suspended license and released at the scene; he is due in court Nov. 29.
