Marissa Pagli Wake Held in Port Chester

Somber mood at Memorial Home in lieu of 18-year old's tragic death.

There was a wake in Port Chester Thursday night for Marissa Pagli, the Manhattanville College student who was found slain on the Purchase campus on Monday.  She was honored at the Craft Memorial Funeral Home on Leicester Street.

While the wake saw a sizable turnout, and offered public admittance, the mood was less than welcoming to sympathizers. Obviously, anyone displaying signs of disrespect should be turned away; however, the security presence at Craft Memorial Home was… very present.

Pagli graduated from Harrison High School in 2009, and played on the Manhattanville College volleyball team. She was 18.  A Facebook page has been created for Pagli's mourners to contribute condolences. Manhattanville College took down Pagli's page on the school's website after her death.
