Traffic Stop Leads to Cocaine Bust, Police Say
The following arrest information was provided by the Harrison Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.
A Fleetwood man faces a pair of felony charges after police say they found a bag of cocaine and a scale used to weigh the drug in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Andrew Knight, 33, was pulled over on Westchester Avenue after exiting the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway in Harrison at about 11:07 p.m. on May 3. Police say he was nervous and sweating while they interviewed him. When Knight was asked to step out of the vehicle police say they spotted a bag of cocaine in the driver's side door panel.
Knight was handcuffed and placed in a police cruiser. While searching the vehicle, police say they also found a digital scale in the glove box.

According to police Knight admitted a friend gave him the cocaine and that he used the scale to weigh the drugs. Police charged Knight with two felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a single misdemeanor count of using drug paraphernalia.
Knight, of 181 Pearsall Drive, was held on $10,000 bail and transported to Westchester County Jail until his court date on May 8.
