House Fire Causes Minimal Damage

A fire in a home on Woodlands Road caused minimal damage Thursday afternoon.

A small house fire Thursday afternoon in a home at 327 Woodlands Road caused minimal damage but prompted a response by the Harrison Fire and Police Departments.

The fire was reported at about 12:50 p.m according to Harrison Fire Chief Dino Del Signore. Responders stretched a water line to the residence but the fire was out before any further assistance was needed.

"It was extremely minor in my word as fire chief," said Chief Del Signore. "The fire was put out by the time we arrived."

There was no structural damage to the home as a result of the fire and no one was injured according to Del Signore. Authorities left the scene within an hour of the report.
