Harrison Police Set to Launch Safety, Seat Belt Enforcement Effort

12-day campaign puts focus on seat belt use.

Harrison police say they are getting ready to launch a 12-day campaign that is part of a national effort to reduce serious crash-related injuries and deaths on the roads.

From March 18 to 29, Harrison police plan to aggressively enforce seat belt laws to increase awareness about how seat belt use can save lives. Police warn that drivers who don't buckle up in Harrison will be ticketed.

And, don't use that cell phone while you are driving, either.
