A summary of arrests from the Harrison Police Department spanning from June 4 - 11

Driving with a Suspended License

On June 4, at about 2:05 p.m., Harrison police stopped a vehicle near Kenilworth Road for having a brake light out. While doing a New York State computer check of the driver, police determined that his driving privileges had been suspended in New York State.

The driver, identified as 45-year-old Grzegorz Krupa, was issued summonses and released at the scene. He is due in court on June 29.

Driving with a Suspended License

On June 5, at about 2:10 p.m., Harrison police stopped a vehicle on Westchester Avenue for a broken license plate light. The driver, identified as 30-year-old Derlis Rodriguez, produced a drivers license that had been suspended in New York State, according to a police computer check.

Rodriguez was issued two summonses with a court date of June 29. He was released at the scene.

Stolen Bike

On June 5, at about 5 p.m., Harrison police received a report of a stolen bike near 261 Halstead Avenue. The owner said that he had left the bike unlocked behind a dumpster in the area at around 10 a.m. the same day, when he returned it was gone.

The case remains open.

Driving with a Suspended License

On June 7, at about 3:20 p.m. Harrison police stopped a vehicle on West Street for having an expired inspection sticker. When police asked the driver, identified as 20-year-old Adam Rosenthal, for his license and registration a computer check revealed a suspended license.

Rosenthal was processed and released at the scene. He is due in court on July 6.

Driving with a Suspended License

On June 7, at about 9 p.m. Harrison police stopped a vehicle traveling on White Plains Avenue for having a broken headlight. While speaking with police the driver, identified as 25-year-old Erika Delbene, said that she should not be driving.

A computer check confirmed that Delbene's license had been suspended. She was processed and released at the scene with a court date of July 1.

Larceny - No Charges

On June 8, at about 2:05 p.m. Harrison police responded to Trotta's Pharmacy after a report of shoplifting. When police arrived at the scene the store owner calimed that he saw a 56-year-old man trying to take makeup from the store, but set off security alarms while leaving.

The 56-year-old returned the items but refused to pay for them. The store owner chose not to press charges, but the suspect was advised that he would not be allowed to return to the store.

Stolen I-Pod

On June 9, at about 8 a.m. Harrison police responded to a report of a stolen I-pod from a vehicle parked on East Purchase Street.

The owner of the vehicle told police that she had gone to sleep at 11:30 p.m. the previous night and that her son had noticed the passenger-side window had been broken at 6 a.m. the following morning.

The case remains open and the owner of the vehicle said that she wishes to pursue charges.

Driving with a Suspended License

On June 9, at about 8:30 a.m. Harrison police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 7 Halstead Avenue. When police spoke with the driver of one of the vehicles, a computer check revealed a suspended license.

The driver, identified as 27-year-old Elder Miranda, was issued summonses at the scene and was due in court on June 15.

Unlicensed Contractor

On June 9, at about 2 p.m. Harrison police interviewed a contractor on Francis Avenue. The owner CEO of the construction company, identified as 34-year-old Jose Vargas, told police that he did not have a Westchester County home improvement license.

Vargas was issued an appearance ticket and was due in court on June 22.

Stolen Wallet

On June 9, at about 6:30 p.m. Harrison police received a report of a wallet stolen from a vehicle parked on Bellevue Avenue. The owner of the vehicle said that she had forgotten to lock her vehicle the previous night and discovered two wallets missing from the vehicle the day of the report.

The owner said that she would like to press charges and the case remains open.

Stolen GPS

On June 10, at about 8:05 a.m. Harrison police responded to reports of stolen property from a vehicle in the area of the Summerfield Hotel. The owner of the vehicle, who was there for a training seminar, said that someone had smashed the passenger-side window of his vehicle and that a GPS was missing.

There are no suspects at this time and no cameras in the area that the vehicle was parked.

Driving with a Suspended License

On June 10, at about 6:20 p.m. Harrison police stopped a vehicle on East Oak Street for a broken windshield. A computer check of the driver, identified as 31-year-old Humberto Cruz, revealed a suspended license.

Cruz was placed under arrest and later released at the scene. He is due in court on June 29.

Driving with a Suspended License

On June 10, at about 11:44 p.m. police stopped a vehicle at a traffic safety checkpoint for having an expired inspection sticker. A computer check of the driver, identified as 24-year-old Somi Sanchez, revealed a suspended license.

Sanchez was placed under arrest, processed and released at the scene. He was due in court on June 22.

Driving While Intoxicated

On June 11, at about 2:55 a.m. Harrison police reported a vehicle passing through a safety checkpoint on Westchester Avenue. When police motioned for the vehicle to stop, the driver made an abrupt turn onto White Plains Avenue. A plate reader at the scene was able to read the license of the vehicle, and police visited the residence of the registered owner of the vehicle.

At the residence, a man answered the door and explained that his wife was the owner of the vehicle. According to a police report, 41-year-old Patricia Moreau, the owner of the vehicle, refused several requests from police to step outside of the home.

Police asked Moreau for her license and registration, and she again refused. Moreau admitted to drinking that night, but claimed that she was not driving. Police placed Moreau under arrest and transporter her to police headquarters. The results of a preliminary blood alcohol content test came back at .18, more than twice the legal driving limit in New York State.

Moreau was released and was due in court on June 22.
