Fake Food Order; Parking Violation; Fecal Matter in the Rivertowns

Recent weird and unusual crime in the Hudson Valley.

Someone reportedly called Myong Gourmet in Mt. Kisco and placed a large food order. The restaurant was suspicious and called the delivery destination, which claimed to not have placed an order.

A Mercedes Benz apparently lost control and hit the front of Kelly Nail Salon, at 288 White Plains Road in Eastchester. Salon workers said there were no customers in the shop and no one was injured.

Orangeburg resident John H. Giusto, 53, was arrested on a warrant charging him with operating a home improvement business without a license. He was arraigned and ordered held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City on $1,000 bail pending a hearing Monday in Town Court.

State Police from the Southeast barracks responded to a hit-and-run near the intersection of Argonne Road and Route 6 in Southeast. The driver who was allegedly struck followed the vehicle in question along Old Milltown Road, said police. After using a helicopter and bloodhound, police arrested New Milford, CT resident Charles E. Kelly, 51. Kelly was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving, both misdemeanors; leaving the scene of an accident, a violation; and following too closely, an infraction.

Somone in Irvington took issue with a 2010 Mercedes GLK350 parked in the Pennybridge Manor lot. The word "driveway" was etched in the rear side door. 

When a 53-year-old Hastings resident opened her car door, she got a handfull of poop, Irvington police said. The woman parked in the Irvington Reservoir Parking lot and took a bike ride. The woman did not believe she was targeted.
