Couple Arrested During Dispute on Oakland Ave.

The following arrest report was provided by the Harrison Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

An arguing Harrison couple were both arrested last week, after police found cocaine at the scene of the dispute and an active bench warrant against one of the people involved.

Andrew Maucieri, 51, and his girlfriend Shelley Kugi, 43, were arguing at Maucieri's Oakland Avenue business at about 8 p.m. on Dec. 13. Police were called to the scene, where Kugi told an officer she was being held against her will and denied access to a phone.

Maucieri denied Kugi was being held at the office.

While trying to defuse the situation, police noticed several glass pipes containing cocaine resudue on an office table, according to reports. Maucieri was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree—a misdemeanor.

A background check on Kugi revealed an active bench warrant out of Harrison. Kugi was arrested and transported to police headquarters. Judge Marc Lust set Kugi's bail at $2,500 cash or $500 bond. Unable to post bail, Kugi was remanded to Westchester County Jail.

Maucieri was processed at Harrison Police Headquarters and released.
