Court Report: Criminal Possession Suspect Pleads Guilty, Now Owes $900

A summary of the events inside the Harrison courtroom on August 10

Judge Ronald Bianchi assigned several suspects to drug and alcohol evaluations and sentenced two people convicted of misdemeanors on Tuesday.

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance

Olivier Manuel was sentenced to a $500 fine, a $400 surcharge and a six-month suspension of his license for his arrest for being in possession of a controlled substance.

DWI Suspect Pleads Guilty

Yilber Martinez Garcia pleaded guilty to DWI on Tuesday. He was sentenced to a six-month revocation of his driver's license and was ordered to attend driving school.

DWI Suspects Assigned to Tasc

Eric Mitchell, who is suspected of DWI and speeding, was assigned to take a drug and alcohol evaluation on Tuesday. John Rourke, who is also suspected of DWI, was also assigned for an evaluation.

Stalking Hearing Postponed

Melvin Santos, who is accused of third degree stalking, had his case postponed to September 14.

Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Under Influence of Drugs Hearing Postponed

Jose Tineo, who is accused of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, had his case postponed to November 12. Tineo is also appearing in Mamaroneck and White Plains court.

Criminal Mischief Suspect Assigned to Tasc

The prosecutor asked that Jeffrey Buschel, who is accused of criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a vehicle, be referred to a drug and alcohol evaluation and his case be postponed to September 14.

DWI Suspect's Hearing Postponed

Erika Delbene was assigned to a drug and alcohol evaluation and had her hearing postponed one week after the court received a letter from her employer attempting to excuse her from appearing in court Tuesday.

The prosecuting attorney emphasized that is is imperative that she make her court date.

Criminal Possession of a Weapon Suspect Assigned to Tasc

Stephen Tracey, who is accused of disorderly conduct, criminal contempt and criminal possession of a weapon, was assigned to a drug and alcohol evaluation before prosecution continues.
