Accident on HRP Causes Traffic Delays
A vehicle crashed through a guard rail while heading northbound at about 2 p.m.
A gray SUV smashed through a guard rail along the Hutchinson River Parkway Thursday afternoon, causing traffic delays in the north-bound direction.
The accident occurred between the Purchase Street and Lincoln Ave. exits.
Police and EMS workers were on the scene by 2:15 p.m. The driver, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was transported to Westchester Medical Center with minor injuries. He was conscious and alert when EMS arrived, according to Harrison EMS Chief Joseph Bilotto.
