A man suffered a laceration and redness and swelling on his nose after a co-worker allegedly beat him with a clipboard. The incident happened at on Bedford Road. Police arrested the man, who allegedly assaulted his coworker and charged him with second degree assault and use of a dangerous instrument.
The DEC released a grey fox that was allegedly menacing Ossining residents back into the town after it deemed the fox's behavior normal. After the grey female fox was trapped, authorities believed her husband and two babies were still on the loose in the area. One Ossining resident claims she fell, cut her face and injured her teeth running away from a threatening fox.
Clarkstown Police report that three New Jersey residents are suspected of using a specially-designed bag to conceal items stolen from the Palisades Center mall. One suspect was apprehended after a brief chase and was discovered to be wanted by Orangetown Police. Nine pairs of sunglasses, one handbag were allegedly stolen.
A starved 7-month-old pit bull/lab mix was found stuffed into a suitcase near the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter. According to The SPCA of Westchester, it is unclear if the puppy, who weighed only 16 pounds instead of 40 and couldn't stand, would survive.
