Two teens police say were smoking marijuana in Tibbits Park in White Plains Sunday were arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
Police say the male suspects, both 17, were sharing a marijuana cigarette on one of the park's benches just after 9 p.m. Police smelled marijuana and found the partially smoked marijuana cigarette on the ground next to the two teens when they arrived, according to an arrest report.
The teens, one from White Plains and the other from Purchase, were arrested and taken to headquarters for processing. Both were released to their parents.
