Police Investigate Road Rage Incident

Two morning commuters allegedly became entangled in a case of road rage at the intersection of Route 35 and the on-ramp of I-684 southbound, according to Bedford police. One driver apparently became angry with another driver and got out of his car, punched the drivers' side front window, and shattered it.

Rockland County officials announced that a Clarkstown mother-daughter duo accused of forcing an Indian immigrant into slave-like labor conditions have been sentenced to two to three years in state prison. The mother, Parveen Jagota, a 59-year-old New City resident living at 28 Butternut Drive, forced the 25-year-old victim who came to the country to marry Jagota's son, to carry out household work without respite and under grueling conditions and the threat of violence.

'Cop' Who Stopped Car on 9A Could Be Fake: County Police Investigate

Westchester County Police believe a person might be impersonating law enforcement officials and are asking residents to be on the lookout. A woman whose car was stopped and searched on Route 9A in Ossining were told that their car matched the description of a wanted vehicle. The mother and son were not harmed during the incident. 

A Pelham Manor woman claims both of her cars were locked when thieves entered them and stole approximately $8,600 worth of goods, including an engagement ring, iPod touch and more. 

Argument Over Washing Machine in Port Chester Leads to Arrest

Two Port Chester women apparently engaged in a dispute over a washing machine that resulted in one woman being pushed and having her prescription sunglasses broken, according to police. The alleged attacker inquired about the washing machines the victim was using when the two had the altercation.

Cops: Man Urinates Next to Patrol Car While Police Handle Crash

A passenger in an accident on Croton Falls Road urinated next to a marked police vehicle and was charged with disorderly conduct. 

Police: Coyotes Surround Sleepy Hollow House

A Sleepy Hollow resident called police to report their house being surrounded by coyotes who were howling. Police scared off the coyotes but discovered that the homeowner had spread coyote urine around to repel deer.
