Obituary: Pat Angarano, Former Harrison Mayor

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home.

Pat V. Angarano, a former Town Councilman and three-term mayor of Harrison, NY died peacefully at home days before his 89th Birthday.

Pat was a Navy veteran serving on the USS Card during WWII. He was an insurance agent before entering into public service.

He was a member of the Harrison Fire Dept. for over 50 years and a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club.

Devoted husband of the late Eleanor (nee Cipolla) d. 1999, cherished father of William Angarano, Judy Davis, Joan Angarano and Janet Angarano, devoted grandfather of James P. Hitchock, Lauren, Billy and Matthew Angarano. He is predeceased by siblings, Joseph, Danny, Augie, Paul, Phil, Matty, Johnny, Rose Ricozzi and Antoinette Iezzi.

Visitation on Sunday from 7 to 9pm, Monday from 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home,  767 East Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck, NY. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10 a.m. at Saint Gregory the Great followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

"Pat was a gentle man who sincerely cared for the residents of the Town of Harrison," Mayor Ron Belmont said May 10.
