The Freedom Conference announced its Players of the Week on Monday afternoon with Manhattanville women's basketball senior Taylor Wilson (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River) earning the honors for the fourth week of the season. Wilson had a big hand in Manhattanville's win NYU on Wednesday in the team's lone game of the week, as she led the squad with a career-high 28 points.

The senior guard scored 20 of her 28 points in the final 20 minutes of the game, helping the Valiants to the come-from-behind victory with 8-of-13 shooting from the field and hitting 3-of-5 shots from beyond the arc. She also added nine rebounds, two steals and an assist in the win.

Wilson is Manhattanville's leading scoring threat this season, averaging 18.0 points per game through the first seven games of the year. She also leads the squad with 27 steals and ranks third on the team in rebounding with 4.6 boards per contest.

This is Wilson's first career Player of the Week honors for her career, thus far the senior has 883 career points as she pushes her way upwards into the top-20 of Manhattanville's all-time scoring list.

Manhattanville (4-3, 0-2 Freedom) will play its next three contests away from Kennedy Gym as they wrap up the 2012 calendar year. The first contest takes place on December 15 at New Jersey City University at 2:00 p.m.
